Roy Harold Cannon

ROY HAROLD CANNON, age 85 of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004 at his home. He was a member and church leader of Blue Springs Church of God and a veteran of World War II,having served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired employee of ASARCO. Preceded in death by wife, Velma Frazier Cannon. Survived by wife, Esther Seal Cannon of Strawberry Plains; daughters, Grace Collins of Kodak and Judy Cook of Strawberry Plains; step sons, Michael Seal of Atlanta and Brian Seal of South Carolina; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; brother, Franklin Cannon of Strawberry Plains; sisters, Frances Blair of Strawberry Plains and Evalina Mize of Seymour. The family wishes to give a special thank you to St. Mary's Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2004 at Blue Springs Church of God with Reverend Don Ingram, Reverend Jack Cook and Reverend Daryl Cook officiating. The body will be moved to the church to lie in state one hour before the service. Interment will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery.
