Rosetta M. (Eddie) Clampitt

ROSETTA M. (EDDIE) CLAMPITT, age 66 of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 1:10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville following a brief illness. She was of the Methodist faith. Preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Leola Shepherd. Survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Dr. William (Bill) clampitt; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery Clampitt and Laurie Licare of Knoxville, Brian and Mary Anne Clampitt of Jefferson City and Robert Clampitt and Nicholas Clampitt; brother, Gene Shepherd of California; sister, Patricia Cater of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Maria Richman of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2005 from the Farrar Funeral Home Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. John Pinkston officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the funeral service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909.
