Roselyn Hope French, of the Piedmont Community, Dandridge, TN, passed away Friday afternoon, April 26, 2003 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was a member of the Dumplin Baptist Church, where she had taught the Primary Sunday School class in her younger years and later attended the Piedmont Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late W.J. and LaGloria Kelly French and was preceded in death by her brother, Earl M. French. She is survived by her sisters, Alberta Jones and Violet Barbee, both of Dandridge; brother and sister in law, Shirley W. and Betty French of Chestnut Hill; sister in law, Irene French of Dandridge; several devoted nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives. The family wishes to express a sincere and heartfelt "Thank You" to the staff of the Jefferson County Nursing Home for all their patience and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Jefferson County Nursing Home, 914 Industrial Park Road, Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2003 at the Piedmont Baptist Church with Dr. Clyde Tilley officiating. Interment to follow in Piedmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
