Ronald Lee Stout

RONALD LEE STOUT, age 61, of Talbott, TN passed away at 1:30 a.m. January 2, 2009 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the Korean/Vietnam era. Preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Myrtle Purkey Stout. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Jenniefer Stout of Liberty, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Lori Stout Carpenter and James Carpenter of Talbott, TN; children?s mother, Nancy Stout of Liberty, SC; grandchildren, Heather, Tyler and Amanda Stout, Ashley and Dylan Carpenter; sisters, Judy Brown of New Market, TN, Donna Barbee of Jefferson City, TN; brothers, Denny Stout of Jefferson City, TN, Conley Stout of Cedar Bluff, AL, Joe Stout of Stockbridge, GA, Dennis Stout of Jefferson City, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special aunt, Blon Killion; special uncles, Don Purkey and Herbert Purkey. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2008 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Westview Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating and military honors by East TN Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the funeral home.
