Ronald W. Lester

Ronald W. Lester Ronnie was born October 30, 1944 in Great Falls, Montana, the youngest of six children for Jack and Beulah Lester. He was a resident of Lebanon for many years where he worked for the Texas Boot Company, the local school district and Walmart. He later moved to Jefferson City, Tennessee where he resided until his death. Mr. Lester died February 6, 2019 in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He was married to Sharon Ledbetter in 1968. Ronnie and Sharon were married for 50 years and are the parents for three children. Mr. Lester was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Lester; parents Andrew Jackson and Beulah Lester; sister Jean Lannom; brothers Billy and Jackie Lester all of Lebanon, TN; and in-laws Grafton Lannom, Willodean Lester and Miles Ledbetter. Mr. Lester is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie Lester and Michelle Kiser of Jefferson City, TN; son Scott Lester and his spouse Jennifer of Meadows Place, Texas; his five grandchildren John David & J.W. Kiser, Mya, DeRenee & Owen Lester; and sisters Virginia (Ivy Jr.) Agee and Nancy (Hugh) Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Lester will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Mill Springs Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Visitation will begin at noon with funeral services to follow at 1pm, followed by a graveside prayer in the church’s cemetery. In lieu of flower, the family asks that donation be made to The Pat Summit Foundation or Jefferson City Health and Rehab.
