Ronald Keith Hensley

RONALD KEITH HENSLEY, age 77, of Rutledge, TN went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 17, 2012. Ronald was born December 30, 1934 in Lea Springs, TN, the son of James T. and Edna Hensley. Ronald was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Rutledge, where he served on the administrative council for many years. He served as Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 96 in Grainger County for over 30 years. He worked for Wayne Renfro Construction Company and later as a security guard at Magnavox before his retirement in 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Edna Hensley; sister, Marie Garbee; and brother-in-law, Ben Miller. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Racine Miller Hensley; son, Perry Hensely and wife Paulette; daughter, Sheryl Vincent and husband Charles; grandchildren, Susie Dockery and husband David, Keith Vincent and wife Nadine, Grant Hensley and wife Whitney, and Zack Hensley; six great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Hensley and wife Jean; mother-in-law, Odessa Miller; brothers-in-law, Ed Garbee, Jimmy Miller and wife Evelyn, Thales Miller and wife Diane; sister-in-law, Rosemary Miller; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, TN with Rev. Caroline Goddard and Rev. Curtis Crooke officiating. Graveside interment service will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Rutledge. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
