SIMPSON, age 68, of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was a member of Limestone Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, DE. He was retired from Brakebill Nursing Home and was owner/operator of R & E Toys. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. Preceded in death by wife, Eleanor Simpson. He is survived by his wife, Earlene V. Simpson of Dandridge; son and daughter-in-law, Rollin W. Simpson, Jr. and Holly Simpson of Shelbyville, Indiana; daughter and son-in-law, Therese and Ray Woods of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Tanya Woods and Ryan Woods of Dandridge, Avery Simpson and Natalie Simpson of Shelbyville, Indiana; step-children, Allen Hunley of Knoxville, TN, Connie Chunn of Melbourne, FL, Theresa Reeves of Knoxville, and Greg Hunley of Melbourne, FL; step-grandchildren, Alisha Hunley, Cassandra Hunley, Ashley Hunley, Christy Hunley, Emily Hunley, Angela Chunn and April Chunn, all of Melbourne, FL; sisters, Barbara Simpson and Sherry DeSebasco, both of Wilmington, Delaware. Memorial funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2007 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Dr. Mark Knicley officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
