He was a retired auto mechanic and avid farmer. Preceded in death by parents, Bazil and Mae Combs Talley; brother, Blair Talley. Survived by wife of 35 years, Carole L. Talley; sons, Jimmy, Gerald and Gary Talley; brother, Fain (Mary) Talley; sisters, Jean Smith, Elizabeth Cockrum, Margaret (Charles) Devotie; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2007 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel. Graveside interment service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
