Roger "Gale" Robeson

ROGER ?GALE? ROBESON, age 74, of Talbott, TN passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at home. He was a member and deacon of Pleasant View Baptist Church, was retired from Y-12 where he was known as ?Appetite?, and was a member of the Breakfast Club at Hardee?s. We rejoice that he is with the Lord and joins his granddaughter, Katie Musick. Preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Rugel, Vivian Cahoon,Carrie Lou Cox. Survived by wife of 50 years, Laura Robeson and June Smith; children, Susan Musick (Matt) of Rogersville, Ellen Moffat (Sam) of Knoxville; ?beloved Pop? of grandchildren, Ava Musick, Thomas Moffat and Juliana Moffat; brother, R. E. Robeson (Patsy) of Morristown; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Sunderland Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
