RODNEY QUARLES, age 66, of Andersonville, TN passed away on June 24, 2021.He was an avid gun enthusiast, hunter, and active advocate for youth hunting/shooting and safety. Retired from Clinton Utilities Board after 21 years of service. He loved and was loved by his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his father, Harold “Monk” Quarles. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy Quarles; children, Carrie Vogt and husband Tim, Amber Adams and husband Donnie; grandchildren, David, Jon, Sara Kate and Emily Vogt; mother, Dorothy Quarles; sister, Brenda Craig and husband Wayne; brothers, Mark Quarles and wife Karen, Gary Quarles and wife Ellen, Larry Quarles and wife Lisa; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other special friends and family. Body will lie in state and friends may pay their respects from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service, led by Mark Quarles and Gary Quarles. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Jefferson County 4-H Patriot Shooters, 1111 Lake Drive, Dandridge, TN 37725.
