ROBERT "R.C." WOODS

ROBERT C. “R.C.” WOODS, age 68 of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. R.C. was a graduate of Maury High School and was a retired transport driver for UPS. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Woods and is survived by his wife, Pam Jones Woods; sons, Chris Woods and special friend, Molly Mazzarini and Brian Woods and fiancé Ashley Blevins; grandchildren, Cole and Claire Woods and Jackson and Emerson Woods; special brother, Tommy Solomon; mother, Gladys Woods; sister, Peggy (Danny) Edmonds. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the extended family at the Rogers House of the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home and the staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice for their special love and care. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be made to Renovatus Recovery Community Center, Attn: Pete Higgs, P.O Box 153, Jefferson City, TN 37760. Graveside funeral services will be held, Saturday, January 6, 2018, 2:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Josh Moore and Pete Higgs officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN
