Robert (Bob) Shockley

ROBERT (BOB) SHOCKLEY, age 73, of Talbott, TN went home to be with Jesus on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Sherwood and Emma Shockley; brother, Roy Shockley. Survived by wife, Mary Lyda McGehee Shockley; children, Robert (Amy) Shockley, Jr. of Carmen, Mexico, Dale Baskett (Robin) of Winchester, TN, Greg Shockley (Ayaka) of the Middle East, Sheri Bennett (Rod) of Rutledge, Kelly (Mark) of Texas; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Lester (Joann) Shockley of Morristown; sisters, Bonnie Davis of Jefferson City and Mary Trent (Bill) of Bean Station. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rev. Don Holt and Rev. Steve Bennett officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
