Robert Charles (R.C.) Minor

ROBERT CHARLES (R.C.) MINOR, age 85, of Dandridge, TN went into the arms of God at 11:58 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Fort Sanders Medical Center. R. C. was a member of the Christian Church and loved listening to gospel music, especially the Kingdom Heirs in Dollywood. He loved his family. R. C. was a proud World War II veteran who served as a Corporal with the 25th Infantry Division Company G, 3rd Battalion. He was privileged to go on the Honor Air trip in October to Washington, DC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne W. Minor; his parents, Charlie and Bonnie Minor; granddaughter, Michelle Robinson; sister, Anna Ruth Stanley; brother, Earl Minor. Surviving are his children; daughters, Pamela Collins and husband Robert, Deborah Minor, Mickie Welch Peters; son, John W. Minor and wife, Merri Lou; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel and Hazel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m..
