OBITUARY:
ROBERT TAYLOR "PETE" FOX, age 84, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Thursday, January 18, 2007 following a brief illness. Pete worked with several construction companies for many years, helping build Neyland Stadium and Jefferson County High School, and always enjoyed playing pranks on people. Preceded in death by his parents, James Taylor and Alma Swann Fox; his loving wife of over 50 years, Bonnie Layman Fox; brother, James "Doc" Fox; nephew, Robert Fox; and his beloved pets, Chester and Bobo. He is survived by his sister, Maxie Holbert; sister-in-law, Ruby Fox, both of New Market; nieces, Ginger (JR) Huskey of New Market; Karen (Jon) Whitt of Talbott; and Debbie Fox of Bowling green, KY; great nieces, Lisa(Mark) Roberts of Bowling Green, Sara Whitt of New Market; great nephews, Christopher Edmonds of Dandridge and Justin Edmonds of New Market, John Robert (Kelly) Fox and Taylor Fox, all of Bowling Green, Sam (Irene) Whitt of Knoxville; two great-great nephews and one great-great niece; special friends, Richard Harlan of Jefferson City and his girls at Food Lion. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Russ Weekley officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2007 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Noah's Ark, Inc., P. O.
