Robert Carroll Massengill

Robert Carroll Massengill, age 83 of Talbott, TN passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved sports. He was a coach, avid softball player, golfer, pool player and loved UT football. He is preceded in death by his parents: W.C.(Bill) and Elsie Cameron Massengill, sister, Lorene Lane and brother, Walter Massengill. Survived by his wife of 60+ years Faye Massengill, daughters, Bobbie Faye (Wayne) Clark, and Terri Massengill, grandchildren, Laura Humphrey, Lesli (Preston) Patton, Noah Baxley and Ava Baxley, Great grandchildren, Skylar Switzer, Tia Switzer, Eli Humphrey, and Evan Humphrey, brother, Billy Massengill, and several loving in-laws and nieces and nephews. Robert will Lie in State on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. The family will meet at Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Henegar officiating.
