Robert Howard Glenn

ROBERT HOWARD GLENN, age 90, of Jefferson City, TN passed away February 7, 2009 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Glenn retired from the U. S. Postal Service in 1982, having served as the postmaster in Jefferson City. Mr. Glenn is survived by Gwen Glenn, his wife of 60 years; sons, Robert A. (Marilyn) Glenn of San Antonio, TX, and Tom Glenn of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Deborah G. (Ron) Baldwin and Carolyn A. (John) Shetter, both of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Ona Jones, Laura Acuff and Rebecca Nobles; brothers, Claude Glenn, W P. Glenn and E. F. Glenn, Jr. The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, TN from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2009 with a brief memorial service to follow with Pastor Jim Turner officiating. Graveside interment service will be Tuesday at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Leonard Street Church of Christ, 2730 W.
