He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Foster, Sr.; and grandparents, Cecil and Maggie Nichols. Allen was a devoted son and an avid softball coach. He was a charter member and vice president of Baldwin Cate Cemetery Trust Fund. Survived by mother, Helen Foster; brothers, J. W. Foster, Steve Foster, John Foster, Ronnie Foster, Arnold Foster; sister, Darlene York. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Dumplin Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Brooks and Reverend Kyle Cate officiating. Interment will follow in Cate Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
