Robert E. "Bob" Combs

ROBERT E. “BOB” COMBS, age 85, of Rutledge, TN passed away on August 3, 2014. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, retired from Robertshaw, a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed his hobby of woodworking. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Thelma Law Combs; parents, Frank and Gladys Combs. He is survived by his children, Charles “Buster” Combs, Kathie (Stanley) Stewart of Morristown, Robyn Combs, Bobby Combs, and Susan (Elbert) Farmer; grandchildren, Mandi (Sean) Hoag, Nicholas Stewart, Kasey Stewart, Sara Crooke, Aaron Crooke; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Hoag and Teegan Hoag; brother, Allen (Billie) Combs; and five nieces. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery on Tuesday morning for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Rev. Jerry DeZearn officiating.
