Robert "Bob" Thomas

ROBERT “BOB” THOMAS, age 73, of New Market, TN passed away on August 29, 2018. He was the owner and operator of Mountain Wood Cookins’ for many years. “Chicken Bob” was well known for cooking his broasted chicken. Preceded in death by parents, Winfred and Gladys Thomas; sisters, Betty and Margaret; brothers, Bill, Clarence, Cliff and Rick. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bernice; daughter, Melissa; brothers, Ray (Tammie) and David (Penny); several other relatives and friends, and special pet, Ginger. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside entombment service with James Wells officiating.
