Robert (Bob) Jones

ROBERT (BOB) JONES, age 69, of White Pine, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Bob was born and lived in White Pine most of his life. He attended White Pine High School and was employed as a Produce Manager for Food Lion until his health began to fail. He was a member of Lakeland Baptist Church. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, the late William (Bill) Jones and Rosa Jones; and also one sister Elizabeth Hawkins. He is survived by his daughter,r Robbie Jones of Jefferson City Tennessee; one brother, Cecil (Bud) Jones and his wife Sharon of Williston Florida; a sister, Pat Ward and her husband Billy of Albany Georgia; three nephews, Keith Jones of Lander Wyoming, Bobby Jones of Maryville Tennessee, Darrel West Jr. of Orlando Florida; one niece, Tammy McClain of Orlando Florida; and a cousin, Hazel Arwood of White Pine Tennessee, who kept his family informed on his health as she made many visits to him in the hospital and nursing home; and Candy Barton, his caregiver in the absence of his family who lived in other states and was a wonderful friend to him until his demise. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Lindsey officiating.
