Robert William (Bill) Turley

ROBERT WILLIAM (BILL) TURLEY, age 73, of New Market, TN passed away suddenly at Jefferson Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2012. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from Asarco. He was employed by the Jefferson County Transportation Department and was also a commissioner for New Market Water Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie A. and Victoria Turley. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Foster Turley; son, Darrell (Karen) Turley; grandchildren, Dustin (Amber) Turley, Jennifer, Aimee and Elijah Turley; sister, Jewellean Long; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Greer and Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
