Robert L. Barbee

ROBERT L. BARBEE, age 84, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Friday, April 28, 2006 at his home. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, a veteran of WWII and was a retired miner with 37 years of service at U.S. Steel Mines. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Frances M. Eller Barbee; son-in-law, Tony D. Lane. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Deloris Barbee; daughter, Sharon Lane; daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Gary malone, all of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Larry Dye and Rev. T. H. Ferrell officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2006 at Mountain View Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. military graveside interment service.
