ROBBIE MARIE DANNER BENNECKER, age 65, of Dandridge, TN, and formerly of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday evening, July 20, 2006. She was born and raised in Knoxville and was a graduate of South High School. Charles and Marie spent many years in Akron, OH and then retired to Dnadridge, TN. Preceded in death by father and mother, Claude C. and Elizabeth Byrd Danner; sister, Marilyn Danner Lett. She was an angel to many and will be sadly missed. Survived by husband of 43 years, Charles Bennecker; sister, Eleanor Frye of Knoxville; brother, Jim Danner of Florida; niece, Mary Elizabeth Tipton of Knoxville, Robyn Gaylor Ackermann, Joy Cross Childress; nephews, David Lett of Ohio, David Davenport of Dandridge, Danny Davenport of Knoxville, Eric Bennecker, Robert Cross, Jr.; brother-in-law, Jerry Bennecker; sister-in-law, Brenda Gaylor; several great nieces and nephews; special pet companions, Sam, Zeke and Zoe; special friends, Mary Jane McGee Williams and Emma Williams. Graveside funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. John Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the funeral home.
