RICKY (SLIM) LEE COCHRAN, SR., age 45, of Pigeon Forge, TN passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Sevier County Medical Center. Preceded in death by father, Henry T. Cochran, Sr.; mother, Virginia K. Cochran; brother, Jerry L. Cochran; and sister, Sandra J. Collins. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ricky L. Cochran, Jr. and Nichole C. Cochran; granddaughter, Alecksis N. Cochran; brothers, Henry T. Cochran, Jr. and Greg L. Smith; sisters, Kim D. Taylor, Kaye Hickman, Shelia A. Smith, Mary K. Calvert, Martha Cochran and Virginia A. Cook; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Al Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Pleasant Grove Piney Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
