Rick Hurst

RICK HURST, age 56 of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly Saturday, January 1, 2005. He was an employee of the Public Building Authority of Knox Co. and was a former 27 year employee of the Asarco Mines and was a member of Swanns Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his father, Warren H. "Cotton" Hurst. Survived by daughter, Kelly Hurst; granddaughter, Tori Hill; mother, Agnes Hurst Ledford and step-father, Larry Ledford; sisters and brothers in law, Peggy and Randy Haun, Twinkle and Charlie Duvall; brother, Chuck Hurst; special friend of 6 years, Sherry Purkey; several aunts, uncles and many cousins and friends. Funeral serivces Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kitts officiating. Interment graveside services 2:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3 at Swanns Chapel Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Peggy and Randy Haun, 1705 Corral Lane, Dandridge and will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
