Preceded in death by wife, Edith Hipshire and daughter, Beverly Roderick. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Troy Ramey; grandson, Dan Ramey, all of Jefferson City; sister, Francis, (John) Smith of Bulls Gap, TN; brother, John (Peggy) Hipshire of New Carlyle, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
