He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Choate; sister, Charlotte Jean Hance; brother-in-law, William R. Farrar; maternal grandparents, Effie and Willis E. Williams; paternal grandparents, Mary and Milton Choate. Survived by devoted mother, Bonnie Jean Choate; sister, Mary Choate Foster; brothers-in-law, Dennis Foster and Harry Hance; niece, Holly Hance; nephews, Kelly Hance and Clay Farrar; several aunts, uncles, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Jim Dampier, Reverend Henry Davidson and Dr. Gene Wilder officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 to proceed to Westview Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
