HANCE, RICHARD CARROLL - age 57, of Nashville, TN, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He was born in Newport, TN. He was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church, Clarksville, TN. He was a Navy Veteran, letter carrier, carpenter, and construction manager. Preceded in death by parents, Ivan and Reva Hance. Survived by son, Pete Hance, Knoxville, TN; brothers, Ivan Hance, Salem, OR, and Jim Hance of Bellevue, WA; sisters, Pam Kapke of Clarksville, TN, and Patti Hance of Destin, FL; uncles, F. A. Henry, and Hubert Henry, all of Dandridge, TN, and Jack Henry of Newport TN; aunts, Betty Nelson of Morristown, TN, Carolyn Deneau of Erin, TN; cousins, nephews and nieces. Family will receive friends beginning 2 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Hills Union United Methodist Church with funeral service to follow at 4:00pm.
