Richard Gregory Funk

RICHARD GREGORY FUNK, age 58, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his home in Dandridge, TN. Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Evelyn Jackson Funk of Morristown, TN. Ric was a member of the French Broad Baptist Church of Dandridge. He was an employee of the Wal Mart Super Center in Morristown, TN, where he was an associate in the meat department. Preceded in death by his father, Richard (Dick) Funk of Livonia, Michigan. Ric is survived by his mother, Lucille Funk Hughes of Northville, Michigan; two brothers, Robert Funk of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, and Russell Funk of Norborne Redford, Michigan; and one sister, Pamela Funk Workman of Northville, Michigan. Ric is also survived by his only son, Jason Funk of Fort Myers, Florida. As per Ric's wishes, his body was cremated with Farrar Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A celebration of Ric's life will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 , 11:00 a.m. at the French Broad Baptist Church on Oak Grove Road in Dandridge with Dr. Earl McCosh officiating.
