RICHARD SCOTT DUPLER, JR., age 75, of Dandridge, TN went to be with his Savior on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at home with his family by his side. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson City. He taught 7th and 8th grade math and pre-algebra in Vermilion, OH for 30 years before retiring in 1998. Preceded in death by mother, Mable Louise Wells Dupler Harmon; father, Richard Scott Dupler, Sr.; daughter, Simone Louise Byrnd. Survived by wife, Donna Caudill Dupler; children, Dawn Dupler of Lorain, OH, Michelle Dupler of Dandridge, TN; step-son, David Woods of Lagrange, KY; brother, Robert Dupler of Titusville, FA; sisters, Sharon Naeem of Elyria, OH and Carmine LaPointe of Westlake, OH; grandchildren, Katrin Robinson and Matthew Robinson, twin boys, Justin Allen and Joshua Lee Amburgey, Thomas Richard Douglas Smith, Kari Marie Woods, Kevin David Woods, Nathaniel Amburgey, Keesha Woods, Kalvin Scott Woods and Christopher Woods; great-granddaughter, Zoe Gabriel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. David Cross officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
