Rhoda "Jane" Lane Hardin

Rhoda ?Jane? Lane Hardin, age 75, of White Pine, TN passed away at her home on Friday, May 27, 2011. Jane was a longtime employee of Allen Clinic in White Pine, and retired from TVA in 1988, where she worked as a medical technician. Jane enjoyed feeding her birds, tending to her flowers and working in her yard. The family would like to express a special thank you to Jeff Horner for his help through the years. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Brad and Belle Samples Lane; sisters, Hulda Brooker, Maggie Keller, Faye Southerland, Nell Lane; and a brother, Alfred Lane. She is survived by a daughter, Ronda (Danny) Holdway; sister, Elsie Johnso;, special niece, Barbara Johnson Bingham; best friend, Faye Greene; and sisters-in-law, Mug Robertson, Sue Arwood, and Punchie Kryder. The family would like to express a special thank you and heartfelt appreciation to Jennifer Eisenhower, FNP for all her wonderful care and bedside manner. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine from 5-7:00pm. Following Jane?s request, she will be cremated and a private graveside service will follow at a later date.
