Revis Brewer

Revis Brewer, age 84, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Born in Waynesboro, TN on February 27, 1930 to Elmer and Mary McCurry. Preceded in death by mother and father; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; grandsons, Shane Swicegood and David Moreland; sons-in-law, Thurman Jackson and Ricky Moreland. She was a member of Jefferson City Church of Christ and retired from Magnavox. Survived by 6 children, Carolyn Jackson (Gary) Hurst of Jefferson City, TN, Barbara (Alfred) Cox Dandridge, TN, Rita Moreland of Nashville, TN, James Brewer of Pickney, MI, Debbie (Danny) Ogle of Dandridge, TN, and Sandy (Clyde) Wyrick of Jefferson City, TN; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home chapel, Jefferson City with Rev. Steven Hodgin and Rev. Albert Johnson officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
