Reba L. Cox Northern

REBA L. COX NORTHERN, age 96, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008. She was a member of the Friendsview Baptist Church. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was preceded in death by husbands, Jack Cate, Kenneth Franklin and Elmer Northern; son, Robert Franklin; great-grandson, Derrick McCoig; daughter-in-law, Barbara Jean Franklin; grandson-in-law, George Davis; brothers, Otha, Howard, Taylor and Norman Cox; sister, Blanche Baker. She is survived by her children, Roy (Vennie) Cate of White Pine, Lois (Garland) McCoig of Dandridge, Lon (Sylvia) Franklin of Uniontown, KY; daughter-in-law, Myrtle Franklin of New Market; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Clyde Cox; sister, Sylvia Bales; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from the Farrar Funeral Home West Chapel in Jefferson City with Rev. Vernon Heatherly officiating. Interment graveside service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Grants Chapel Cemetery.
