R.C. "Jack" Sharpe

R.C. "Jack" Sharpe, age 87, of Jefferson City, Tennessee passed away Friday, August 9, 2002, at Life Care Center in Jefferson City following an extended illness. Mr. Sharpe was a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City and was the son of the late Burcham Gresham Sharpe and Ida Belle Borne Sharpe and a brother to the late Niada Haberly, Ralph Sharpe, and Harold Sharpe. He was a retired employee of Colonial Pipeline after many years of service. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Cleo Stump Sharpe of Jefferson City; children and their spouses, Ronald Wayne and Jane Sharpe of Marietta, Georgia, Peggy and Ray Dalton of Talbott, Tennessee and Greg and Diane Sharpe of Jefferson City, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jeremy Sharpe, Kathy Kathy and John Adams, and Phillip Sharpe all of Marietta, Timothy Dalton of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ami and Chad Hartsock of Waco, Texas, Ashley, Rachel, and Lauren Sharpe all of Jefferson City, Tennessee; sisters, Mildred Sands of Independence, Kansas and Eleanor Tetrick of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday evening, August 11, 2002 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City with Reverend James Dampier officiating.
