Raymond "Chicken" Williams

RAYMOND "CHICKEN" WILLIAMS, age 64, of White Pine, TN passed away at Baptist Hospital in Newport on Wednesday,January 2, 2008. He was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Williams and Lettie Henderson Hatcher; brother, Charles Williams; sister, Evelyn Hannah; and daughter, Jackie Reed. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Hazel Warren Williams; his children, Pam Smith of Greeneville, Bobby Williams and Danny Williams, both of White Pine; grandchildren, Derik Owens, Latisha Williams, Carrie Tabor, Alex Williams,Carlie Williams, Jude Williams; and great grandson, Izik Owens; brother, Herbert "Junior" Williams and wife, Kathryn; sisters, Bessie Talley (Albert), Wanda Tipton (Jim); also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Willie Winters officiating. Interment will follow in Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
