RAYMOND MATTHEW KROL, age 14, of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center as the result of an accident. He was a freshman at Jefferson County High School, where he planned to attend Junior ROTC and becoming a pilot in the U. S. Army. He was active in Fusion Marshall Arts (Dandridge), where he was studying Tae Kwondo. Survived by parents, Ray and Carol Krol; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and James Young of Ft. Steward, GA; sister, Sarah Krol of Dandridge, TN; maternal grandmother, Sarah Least of White Pine, TN; adopted grandparents, Ray and Ruth Hedrick of Dandridge; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Troy Duncan, Charles Ruth and DeLynn McCash officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Hills Union Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Raymond Matthew Krol Memorial Fund, 1407 Lake Front Drive, Dandridge, TN 37725.
