WOODS, age 82, of Talbott, TN, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Rosa White Woods; sister, Kathlee Nolen Dotson; brothers, James and Clifford Woods. He is survived by his wife Lydia Welch Woods; son, Lennis and wife, Louise, of Morristown; brothers, Carl Woods and George Woods; sisters, Betty Cox and Hattie Smith, all of Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 19, 2004 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Gary Norton officiating. Family and friends will gather at the Community Chapel Cemetery on Monday, September 20, 2004 for a 10:00 a.m. interment service.
