Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760 Phone (865) 475-3892 Fax (865) 475-9916 OBITUARY: RAY ELBERT PANNELL, age 75, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was born June 7, 1931 in Natural Tunnel, VA. He was a member of Community Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and retired from General Motors Corp. with 30 years of service. Member of Mossy Creek Lodge # 353 F & AM and Kerbela Temple Shrine. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Laura Pannell; sister, Gladys Larkins; step-son, Frank Fields. He is survived by his wife, Alice Pannell; daughter, Rayette (Danny)Lamb of Talbott; step-daughters, Judy LaMothe of Michigan and Connie Harris of Michigan; grandchildren, Benjamin Lamb and Kathryn Lamb; step-grandchildren, Kim, Dawn, Jennifer, Kevin, Tom, Brent, Tina, Mark, Vernon, Carley; brother, Charles (Celia) Pannell of Maryland; sisters, Ethel (Buddy) Worley, Georgia Brown, both of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Dennis Caldwell and Rev. Scott Cline officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Shriner Hospital for Children, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502, or to the Gideon Bible Fund, Jefferson County Camp, P. O.
