Ray K. Lane

Ray K. Lane, age 76 of White Pine, TN departed this life Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired employee of BASF with over 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a combat veteran of World War II and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his father and mother, C.C. and Georgia Lane and brother, John Lane. He is survived by his wife, mary Sue lane; sons and daughters-in-law, Charales R. and Trish Lane, Harold D. and Dorothy Lane; grandsons, Keith, Kenny, and Jeff Lane; granddaughter, Tammy Lane; brother, J. C. Lane; brother and sister-in-law, Tidience and Anna mae Lane; sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Yang Holiway; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2002 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Irons officiating. Interment graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Sevier County with military honors by the Volunteer State Honor Guard.
