Sanders Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was born September 26, 1944 in Appling County, GA to the late Barney and Elese Ahl. He was a faithful member of Cedar Hill Church of God and a former employee of Y-12. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Guinn Ahl; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Sharon Ahl; grandchildren, Ashley and Adam Ahl; sisters and brothers-in-law, Naomi and E.D. Fowler, Vetanell and Dalton Fowler, Dereta and Bernnie Kent, Sandra and Mike Spivey, all of Baxley, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, April 18, 2008 at Cedar Hill Church of God with Reverend Samuel Youngblood, Reverend Ronald Rentz and Reverend Tracy Colley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning at Sunderland Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
