Ralph Smeallie,

RALPH SMEALLIE, SR., age 76 of Baneberry, TN passed away Saturday, September 6, 2003 at the Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Ralph J. and Mildred Smeallie; sister, Ellen Squire; daughter, Margaret Semallie. He was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of WWII and a member of the Elks Club. He was retired from Sonoco of Newport. Survived by his wife, Joan Semallie of Baneberry; children, Ellen Stone, Ralph (Laura)Smeallie, Jr.,Tina (Brian) Miller, Virginia Harris, Karen Riddle and Kimberly Harris; 9 grandchildren, Melissa Turek, Andrea Smeallie, Bryce and Jordyn Miller, Randy (Lisa) France, Michael (Kim) France, Billy Reed, Angela (Will) Owens and Kimberly Riddle; 3 great grandchildren, Chelsey Bell, Caleb Askew and Abigail France. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, september 11, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in White Pine with Rev. Roy V. Miller officiating.
