RALPH EUGENE LAMB, age 73, of Talbott, TN went home to be with his Savior on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong dairy farmer with his brothers, Hugh and Paul, for many years. Ralph was a devoted student of the Bible with a vast amount of knowledge that he always shared. He was active in Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church and taught Sunday School there. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and while stationed in Turkey was privileged to visit the Holy Land which was a highlight of his life. He loved animals and had a talent for being able to fix anything that tore up. He also enjoyed woodworking and was happy to give the things he made to family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Minnis and Gussie Lamb; brothers, Rev. Paul Lamb, Harold Lamb and Hugh Lamb; sister, Viola Cluck. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Nila Lamb; son, James Lamb; daughter, Susan (Billy) Rollins; grandchildren, Connor and Emily Rollins; brother, Bill (Judy) Lamb; sister-in-law, Jean Lamb; brother-in-law, Morgan Cluck; and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Patrick Miner and the entire staff of Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for their care. Body will lie in state on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 27 at Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Richard Snowden, Rev. Terry Sanders officiating. Graveside interment service will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Doug Benton officiating.
