Ralph "Pig" Holdway

RALPH "PIG" HOLDWAY, age 74, of White Pine, TN died Monday, September 24, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, TN. He was born December 15, 1932 in the Point Pleasant Community of Cocke County, the son of the late David and Julia Holdway and was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Calfee and brother-in-law, Gordon Brady. He was a loving husband and father and a good friend to all who knew him. Pig is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary (Brady) Holdway and daughter, Julia Holdway; sisters, Marie (late Paul) Everhart and Maxine (Ed) Shockley; brother, J. C. "Rip" (Frances) Holdway; sister-in-law, Marlene (Joe) Bollinger; brothers-in-law, John (Kathy) Brady, Walter (Flo) Brady; special family and friends, Dorothy and Clarence Bell, Norma and Raymond Holdway and "Jeep" Hayes. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2007 at Point Pleasant Cemetery in Cocke County, TN with services conducted by his nephew, Virgil Everhart.
