RALPH H. BYRD, age 87, of White Pine, TN passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at his home. Preceded in death by parents, William A. and Millie Byrd; sister, Sandra Byrd; brothers, Ernest Byrd and Doyle Byrd; sister, Bonnie Kirkendall; son-in-law, Bill Free. He was a member of French Broad Valley Baptist Church, and Brazelton Lodge #190. He was an avid supporter of the Danny Thomas St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ina Rose Byrd; son, Steven C. Byrd; daughters, Pat Dixon and Nina Gail Free; grandchild, Carlin Byrd; great-grandchildren, Haley Byrd and William Byrd; sisters, Margaret Byrd Watson (Delmar) and Lorene Byrd; several nieces and nephews; special buddy ,Tiki (Scoot); special friend, Larry Brooks. Masonic graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Kelly Reed officiating. The body will lie in state Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
