Rachel Cate Quarles

RACHEL CATE QUARLES, age 77, of Talbott, TN went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2013 at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and retired from Walmart after 17 years service. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Billy Jon Quarles; parents Hugh Johnson Cate and Eula Blanton Cate; brother, Jim Cate. She is survived by her children, Molly Quarles Bailey and husband Russ, Amy Quarles Cate and husband Randy, Alice Quarles Webb and husband Todd; grandchildren, Trey Cate, Bella Webb, Drew and Erin Bailey; sisters, Iva Mae Phillips, Esther Hull; sister-in-law, Doris Quarles; several beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. R. J. Seal and Rev. Todd Stinnett officiating. Family and friends will gather at Farrar Funeral Home at 12 noon on Wednesday to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
