RICKARD, age 70 of Talbott, TN passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He attended Panther Springs United Methodist Church, was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and was retired from U. S. Steel Mines with over 30 years of service. Survived by wife, Katherine Denton Rickard of Talbott; son, Robin Rickard of Talbott, TN; daughter, Michelle Rickard of Knoxville; grandchildren, Katie Rickard of Talbott, Emily Rickard and Adam Rickard, both of Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Panther Springs United Methodist Church with Reverend Garland James officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006 to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside internment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Jefferson County Cancer Society, c/o Mary Ellen Darby, 1321 Laurel Hills Circle, Jefferson City, TN 37760, or to Panther Springs United Methodist Church, 4555 W.
