Queena Rae Wigington, age 93, of White Pine, TN and presently a resident of Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, January 20, 2014. She was born October 23, 1920 in Lee Co. VA. She was a retired elementary school teacher and was a member of the First Baptist Church in White Pine. She is preceded in death by her husband, James F. Wigington; son, Michael F. Wigington; sister, Jeanette Sessums and brother, Frank Cavin. Queena Rae is survived by her daughter, Faye Bozeman; nephew, Jody (Rosemary) Wigington; of Morristown; niece, Shelia (Bill) Kunkel of Knoxville and nephew, Steve (Meredith) Sessums of Alabama; dear cousin, Vivian Ramsey of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jacqui (Ryan) Fowler of Orange, Australia; Jan (Lindsey) Reed of Bean Station; Judy (Mark) McElhaney of Morristown and Jean Ann (B.W.) Tucker of Knoxville, 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, 7:00pm at First Baptist Church in White Pine with the Rev. Brian Osborne officiating, with family receiving friends from 6-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside interment service will be on Thursday, January 23, 2014, 11:00am in Jarnigan Cemetery, Morristown.
