Ponder G. Butterworth

PONDER G. BUTTERWORTH, age 74, of Dandridge, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2010. He was a retired employee of Standard Knitting Mill of Knoxville. Preceded in death by wife, Phyllis Butterworth; brothers, Earl and Carl Butterworth. Survived by his children, Karen (Larry) House, Debra (Mike) Butterworth, Ronnie (Mary) Butterworth, and Darryl (Barbara) Butterworth; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers, Don Butterworth and Conley Butterworth; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 8:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Duncan and Rev. Carl Bryan officiating. Graveside interment services will be Thursday, 11:00 am at Deep Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm prior to service at the funeral home.
