Phyllis J. Russell

Phyllis J. Russell, age 67, of Morristown, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Friday evening, September 5, 2003 at Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown following a brief illness. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her grandson, Jody Lee Henderson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tommy Henderson of Dandridge; son and daughter-in-law, Sidney and Cheryl Clarkston of Morristown; grandchildren, Brian and Nathan Clarkston and Amanda and Billy Henderson; mother, Stella Ridenour of Florida; sister, Claudette Philpot of California; brothers, Tommy and Michael Ridenour; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, September 8, 2003 from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City with Reverend Rusty Webster officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Following the funeral service the body will be cremated according to her wishes.
