She was a member of White Pine Ruritan Club, Beth Carr United Methodist Church, and White Pine Senior Citizens Organization. Preceded in death by son, Gregory Scott Arwood. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Clayton Arwood; son, Woody Arwood of New Tazewell, TN; grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer) Arwood of White Pine, Daniel Arwood of White Pine, Tara Arwood of Tazewell, TN and Clayton (Tiger) Arwood, Jr. of Knoxville, TN ; sister, Jane Dukes of Folly Beach, SC; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. David Bugg officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the funeral home to proceed to Dandridge Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
